Life isn't fair, if it were it'd be boring

Every now and then we complain that life is not fair, but if actually sit and think about it, well if life were fair, would it be worth living? I think not. If life were fair, every individual would be bestowed with the same qualities, the same features and the same potential, then well we would not be individuals anymore, men would be like bots. There would be no individuality and life would be sooo boring. As it is well known that change is the spice of life, if life was fair to you it would be fair to your neighbour as well and well then your neighbour would not be your neighbour but he would be you, and that is not only boring can even get very scary. So be glad that life is not fair and enjoy the variations of it cause if they are not there life wont be life at all.

So true and an interesting viewpoint... but then again, you're saying that if it were so it wouldn't be worth living... On what basis do u say that? Because we are the way we are now? Who knows, if we were living that other world u mentioned, we would be accustomed to the zero individuality and be horrified at the thought of a world which was "unfair" thus unfair, fair... all relative.. golden rule as you know :D

Well the golden rule is in deniable, true we never know, it is relative but now that we are in this world where we are accustomed to individuality, we should not look for fairness. Besides, the argument is not baseless, at least as far as i am concerned, i don't want to generalize, if i were to be a robot and be called K432, i might not have minded the name but well the next guy would be K433 and you would be D429 or something like that. So not only one would never be able to remember names one would quit trying and then you would find everyone carrying their numbers on their heads for identification, cause we all look alike already remember. Now you know the unfair life you lead and the fair one that you don't, take your pick. In fact there would be no concept of blogging, there would be no thought that everyone did not think, no innovation, no creativity, no variation, no change. The choice is yours and yours alone.

i know i'm glad life aint fair at times.. i mean, i may have to be normal..
but u know.. things which seemed unfair at one point, dont seem so bad anymore.. maybe unfair exists till u dont understand it.. maybe after it, u find a fair in the unfair too..

its quite stupid 2 sit down n waste judging life.. cz thn we are not living it.. so faster one accepts life as it is.. better one gets outta his/her life... wat say?

now that you mention it i remember, obviously life is not meant to be pondering over life, its like, well imagine ur playing a game, and trying to critic it at the came time, as in how can you tell if the water is too cold of you were always in it, this is giving me more thoughts, thnx sukrit. like some one once said, one lifetime is too little to live life to the fullest, so if we actually waste more of it thinking about life, then well we sure will fall short of time, i'd like you to consider this as a deliberation on time and not on life.
